Gerald (Jerry) H. Cooper

Mediator, Arbitrator and Consultant

Gerald H. Cooper

Gerald H. Cooper

Gerald H. Cooper—or Jerry, as he is known to his family and friends—has been practicing law for over 50 years. He first appeared in court to argue his first case in 1969. During his early career, Jerry tried over 100 personal injury jury cases to verdict, with an impressive 90-95% success rate.

As his career progressed, Jerry felt he had put in enough time as a trench warfare trial lawyer. He decided to put his knowledge and expertise to use as a mediator and arbitrator. Since that switch in focus, Jerry has successfully mediated thousands of personal injury cases, several of which have involved multimillion dollar claims. Despite his resounding success, it’s not the amount of the claim that matters to Jerry. Rather, it is his commitment to helping parties reach reasonable resolutions, irrespective of the dollar amount of the cases.

As counsel for Cooper Law Group, Jerry continues in his role as neutral mediator and arbitrator. He also serves as an essential consultant over many key aspects of the firm’s client’s cases, from initial screening and trial consultation to what he does best: formulate strong, practical, individualized strategies to maximize settlements and jury verdicts.
